The ICL Collegiate Cup is a biannual hyper-realistic cybersecurity tournament for university and college students. Students will log into a cyber range and will face real-world threats like the threats they will face on the job. Students are immersed in a real-world attack and practice their defensive skills in a virtual security operations center (SOC) that includes commercial security tools and live, enterprise-grade networks. The ICL Collegiate Cup is the gold standard for higher education cybersecurity tournaments and the de facto competition for university and college students in the US. Tournaments take place in the spring and fall seasons and are the ideal opportunity for students to demonstrate, test, and apply their cybersecurity knowledge and skills.
Anyone enrolled in an undergraduate cybersecurity program at a higher education institution until at least April 7, 2023. A SOC is composed of a team that works together to respond and mitigate a cyber-attack, so the ICL is a team event. Teams comprise four students from the same institution. Only one team is permitted per institution. For registration to be complete, each team member should be registered under the same team nickname and each team member must complete the registration form.
Complete and submit the registration form. Registration is online only. When you register, we will ask you for your team’s nickname, so please make sure to talk to your teammates and choose one before you register!
